The single ‘Autumn’, based on the poem by John Clare, was released as a prelude to the album ‘Autumn Airs’, which features songs about the harvest season.
Although I’ve continued on my path of setting poetry to music, the song is more modern in its use of instruments than the previous releases (‘Sonnets by Susan Evance’ and ‘Thy Delightful Shade’), which were more piano based.
The single mix is included as a bonus track on the album 'Autumn Airs'.
